Ashanti Shequoiya Douglas famously known as Ashanti. Ashanti was birthed on the 13th of October, 1980 at Glen Cove New York United States. In the same year, she made an appearance as a guest on The Fat Joe's What's Luv? The singer also featured on the Fat Joe's hit song"What's Luv!" as well as the Ja Rules' track Never On Time Both of them became huge hit songs. The moment she dropped her single,"What's Luv in the top two spots on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States and Foolish at the top spot with Foolish as her debut single, she was the first female to reach this feat.
